Designed for straight stitch and hand-look quilting stitches, this Clear Adjustable 1/4" Piecing Foot with Guide helps maintain a consistent 1/4" (6 mm) seam allowance with ease. The clear foot design enhances visibility, allowing for precise stitching. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced quilter, this foot provides the accuracy and control needed for professional-quality results.

How to Use:

1. Selecting the Stitch For piecing, select Woven Medium, Seam on your SEWING ADVISOR™ feature or use a center needle position straight stitch. This foot has a small needle opening designed to better form stitches, so it is compatible only with straight stitch or hand-look quilt stitch.
2. Using the Red Alignment Marks The foot features red markings that help with fabric placement at the start, corners, and end of your stitching, ensuring precise alignment.
3. Starting at the Fabric Edge Place your fabric under the foot, aligning the raw edge with the guide. Sew the seam while keeping the fabric edge aligned with the guide for consistent results.
4. Starting at a Measured Distance To begin sewing 1/4" (6 mm) from the fabric edge, align the fabric with the rear-most guideline on the foot.
   To begin sewing 1/8" (3 mm) from the edge, align the fabric with the next forward guideline.
5. Stopping at a Measured Distance Stop sewing 1/4" (6 mm) from the fabric edge when the front red guideline aligns with the fabric edge, ensuring precise corner turns.
6. Using for Topstitching For topstitching a finished edge, align the guide on the right of the foot with the fabric edge and sew. If a hand-stitched look is desired, use the Handlook Quilt Stitch and follow the threading instructions in your User’s Guide for best results.
