Bodkins are used for threading cord, elastic, ribbon, etc. through fabric casings or lace. This package contains two types of Bodkin, as illustrated in the image. One of them is a loop bodkin, the other a pincer bodkin.

The loop bodkin has a ball tip to stop the bodkin damaging the fabric. The pincer bodkin is particularly suitable for threading elastic. Release the ring and bind the elastic band in the pincer. Tighten the pincer by moving the ring towards the band. For very fine elastic, use the loop bodkin and tie the elastic through the head.
